Nigel Westacott
Parent Governor
I have three children and my wife and I juggle children and work full-time. My interests are anything to do with being outdoors, especially in the countryside. I enjoy taking my son to watch MK Dons play football. I did not previously follow football but, when looking for something to do with my son at the weekend, we discovered Stadium MK and now attend home matches on a regular basis. The facilities are great for people with disabilities and our son can make as much noise as he likes!
Since becoming a Parent Governor, I have raised £25,000 through a variety of events, for the children and young people who attend the schools to enjoy extra-curricular activities.

Our teaching and non-teaching staff work to provide the best that they possibly can, to support all our children and young people’s unique learning needs. Our Governors link the school with the community and play a key role in the effectiveness of the school. The governing board’s job is to look at all aspects of the school’s performance and ensure it is achieving its full potential, as well as working with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic leadership and accountability.
