In my personal life I love the disciplines making up triathlon, and compete in long distance events each year. I find this a very helpful break to ensure I can give the school and its community the attention it deserves. I am delighted to work with the Governing Body, which has such a key role in shaping the Federation’s future, and one of my key roles is ensuring Governors have the information and access to know the school well and hold the leadership team to account. My experience has always been that open communication with Governors and other stakeholders yields the most productive relationships, and I am committed to this approach here.

Our teaching and non-teaching staff work to provide the best that they possibly can, to support all our children and young people’s unique learning needs. Our Governors link the school with the community and play a key role in the effectiveness of the school. The governing board’s job is to look at all aspects of the school’s performance and ensure it is achieving its full potential, as well as working with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic leadership and accountability.
